Jan. 26, 2006 -- The Hankook United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) announced today the formation of its 2006 public relations team. "The USTCC is becoming one of the premier touring car racing series in the United States. The team will comprise of Aaron "Biggie" Brown, Ryan Cristobal and Charlie Frank and will report to Series Coordinator, Ali Arsham.
Brown is a Photographer and Graphic Designer who has been actively involved in motorsports for the last 8 years. He will be attending upcoming events, taking photos and providing immediate coverage for media and sponsors. "We are glad to have him on board." said Ali Arsham USTCC Series Director. Arsham continued, "We are hoping to bring fast and up to date information as close to the end of each event as possible." Brown added “I am exited to help promote these events and look forward to a great 2006 season.”
The second member of the PR Team is Ryan Cristobal. Cristobal is a long time observer of the USTCC since its inception and has been a crew member in the series for several years. “Ryan will be a great help in producing and writing the many stories that take place throughout the weekend and will help in bringing the news to the media as quickly as possible.” Said Arsham.
The third member of the team is Charlie Frank who started the 2005 season as the Assistant Public Relations Director, as well as a driver in the series. Unfortunately, the racing season went sour quickly with a blown engine in his Toyota Celica. But his loss was the series’ gain. That’s because it meant that Frank could devote more time to his job as the Assistant Public Relations Director. Frank has been involved in motorsports as a driver for over 20 years. He has worked as a Publicist at the Samuel Goldwyn Motion Picture Company, and has extensive knowledge in marketing and public relations. Frank will be working with Arsham, Brown, and Cristobal, to write, edit and produce articles, as well as setting up interviews, and working with local media to highlight the USTCC.
The team will start by getting ready for the season opener at the A1GP as the series heads for Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca on March 10-12. write, edit and produce articles, as well as setting up interviews, and working with local media to highlight the USTCC.
