Auto Tech Interiors to Ramp Up Support of the Nitto Tires US Touring Car Championship

Napa, CA – Auto Tech Interiors (ATI), leaders in providing complete gauge solutions including their own ATI gauge pod s and their exclusive STRI automotive gauges, announced today that they will be increasing their support for the teams in the Nitto Tires United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) for 2011. This marks the second year of ATI’s involvement in the USTCC. The STRI - Gauge Your Performance award has been a highly coveted award to an outstanding performing driver at each race. Almost every team participates in the award with the hope of winning some of the great products offered such as the STRI lineup of precision gauges.

ATI’s lineup of STRI and Defi gauges has been very popular in the USTCC and ATI wants to cover more cars and more teams in 2011. ATI believes in providing the most practical gauge solution on the market and that includes not just gauges, but also their various gauge mounting solutions known as the ePod, ez-Pod, and v-Pod series. Their belief is simple. No gimmicks while incorporating the latest technologies. ATI works closely with sportsman racers and professional teams to develop products for both street and circuit. “STRI products are like a Swiss watch. They are beautiful to look at while being precision instruments. But the best part is that ATI is small enough that they can listen to the teams they work with and make changes on the fly,” said Ali Arsham, USTCC Director.

ATI designs all of their products on-site, with the majority of their time invested in R&D, testing, and careful selection of materials. “We are unique, having most of our development done with the input of our business partners and end-users. We feel this is absolutely critical to ensure our products meet customer needs. This is also the reason we have open communications and fundamentally sound relationships with the market. We learn and listen to them, as well as educate them, to ultimately provide products that meet the most critical objectives,” said Calvin Eng, President of ATI.

The USTCC season starts out on April 16-17 at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA.
