MBO Motorsports and ARG Motorsports Agree to Joint Venture

The 2020 racing season finally kicked off after a longtime with no on track events the wait is finally over. The MBO Motorsports team is excited to announce the big news, during the offseason a joint venture agreement was reached between ARG (Apex Racing Global) motorsports and MBO Motorsports and Racing to merge as one team, this decision will allow for greater performance advantages.

The 15 Championships won by the MBO Motorsports Team will bring proven motorsports knowledge and racing experience along with their shared resources to assist the ARG motorsports team in continuing to win championships now and into the future.

The joint venture will help the newly formed team to be better equipped to win the 2020 United States Touring Car Championship as well as other planned racing events. Pete Bovenberg, the veteran champion driver and team manager of the MBO Motorsports, will be in involved in driving, coaching, instructing and helping with technical and logistical support of the team. His experience in team management skills will assist in the organization and running of the team. The newly completed MBO Motorsports Racing facility in Morgan Hill will be part of the operations to assist in the maintence and repair of team and customer cars.

ARG motorsports will offer on track support that will be available to selected drivers and their cars. The team will expand the driver ride rental program that is available,” Arrive and Drive “

Pete Bovenberg the proven championship winner will be driving the Honda Civic Si #2 and will be bringing the car to current winning stable of cars already in the ARG team. The second MBO Motorsports car the Dodge SRT-4 #5 will once again be driven by last year's rookie sensation Danny Zargham, who is hungry for his first win. With one year of race craft mentoring under his belt, he is looking forward to racing for rookie of the year award. It will be an exciting rookie year for him as he gets a handle on the turbo boost in the Dodge and how best to use it.
